View all FAQs »Can I buy Kaapai gear using my credit card if I don't have a PayPal account?
Yes, absolutely! While PayPal is our primary gateway, it features a secure "Guest Checkout" option. When redirected to the payment page, simply select "Pay with Debit or Credit Card." You can then securely enter or bind your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card details to complete the order without needing to register a PayPal account.
Why does Kaapai primarily use PayPal for trading card display boxes and showcases?
PayPal is globally recognized as one of the most secure and consumer-friendly payment networks in the world. By routing our checkout through PayPal, we provide collectors with an extra layer of buyer protection, zero-fraud guarantees, and seamless multi-currency support, which perfectly matches our premium global DTC brand standards.
I see a "Coming Soon" note for direct credit card payments. When will this be available?
Our technical team is currently configuring native credit card processing gateways directly into our Shopify system. We expect direct on-site credit card checkouts to launch later this year. Until then, the credit card binding option via PayPal provides the exact same high-level encryption and security.
Are there any hidden transaction fees or payment processing surcharges on kaapai.com?
No. The total price you see at the final checkout screen is exactly what Kaapai will charge you. We do not impose any sneaky payment handling surcharges or processing fees. Any additional fees showing up on your statement would stem from your local bank for international transaction fees or currency conversion.
Is it safe to enter my billing info here to purchase high-value figure display cabinets?
Yes, it is 100% secure. Our website utilizes industry-standard SSL/TLS data encryption protocols. Furthermore, because all payments are routed through encrypted third-party tokens managed by PayPal and Shopify, our team never catches sight of or saves your sensitive card numbers or financial passwords.
Why was my payment declined when attempting to order trading card protective supplies?
Payment declines usually happen due to a few common reasons: typing an incorrect billing address, entering an expired card date/CVV code, or triggering a fraud alert from your bank for an international online purchase. If your payment fails, please double-check your card details or reach out to your card issuer to authorize the transaction.
How will a Kaapai transaction appear on my credit card or bank statement?
Once your payment goes through successfully, the line item transaction on your financial statement will typically display as *"PAYPAL KAAPAI" or "SP * KAAPAI", depending on whether you checked out via your PayPal account or via the card guest portal.
Can I split my payment across two different credit cards for a large bulk order?
Currently, our checkout gateway only supports a single payment method per order. If you are purchasing multiple trading card storage binders, display cabinets, and protection kits and wish to divide the financial balance across different cards, we suggest splitting your gear into two or more separate orders.
What should I do if I am accidentally charged twice for the same order?
Duplicate charges are extremely rare and typically happen if the browser is manually refreshed or the submit button is clicked multiple times during a slow connection. If you notice a duplicate pending charge on your account, please email us immediately at support@kaapai.com with your order number. We will review our system and void any accidental duplicates right away.
Does Kaapai accept Cash on Delivery (COD), checks, or wire transfers?
No. To maintain quick fulfillment times and ensure secure tracking for our logistics chain, Kaapai only accepts digital payments cleared at the time of checkout. We do not accept Cash on Delivery, paper checks, bank wire transfers, or mail-in money orders for our retail DTC storefront.
